Idea...

This is the wallpaper/look that I am going for in my dining room, except that all the wood trim and the mantel is a dark wood.  I think it could look very cool and modern if paired with the right furniture, and not feel stuffy or dated.  I am thinking about a farmhouse style table, or maybe a large (seats 6) pedestal table.

Suggestions?

Liz- I think that's a great look for your dining room. You could also do a stencil with two close shades of paint to achieve that wallpaper look. Farmhouse table is great idea with comfy chairs in microfiber kid and pet friendly fabric.
