I am thinking about instituting a 'Yo Gabba Gabba' free week at our house because Maeve has a serious addiction to the show. This was not one of our standard shows, and I actually was a bit wierded out by the show so we never watched it. Then one day while watching live TV, Yo Gabba Gabba came on and Maeve's love affair with the funky hipster show began.
As far as I am concerned, it's a really great show. Sure, the characters are totally bizarre, but they always have a great 'moral lesson' each show and some really catchy songs. Maeve's personal favorite is 'Keep Trying, Keep Trying. Don't Give up'. I'll try to post a video of her singing it soon. They also feature some indie artists and some celebrities and that makes it more interesting for me to watch, too.
So, what's the problem? She won't watch ANYTHING else, and I am staring to dream about Yo Gabba Gabba. We are stuck inside due to colds, and cold weather so there is a lot of TV watching going on right now and I just don't think I can take another episode. Oh my, it's going to be a long winter.
