Maeve is now a dolphin! This week is her transition week from being a 'Turtle' (the 2 yr old room) to being a 'Dolphin' (the 3 yr old room), and in true Maeve fashion she scoffed at the plan to transition slowly over the course of the week and begged to stay in the Dolphin room all day long. She napped on her cot without a problem, and she stuck with her friend Libby the whole time. I'm so proud of her and I got little misty eyed when her teacher called me at noon to report how awesome Maeve is. She is so brazen and fearless when it comes to adapting to new situations and I hope she never loses that quality because it will serve her well all her life.
In celebration of her first day as a dolphin, she wore the silver dolphin necklace that Grandma Lil sent her. So cute!!
